well my c157 had an engine noise...sounded like a diesel but its a gasser, i dropped the pan and checked the bearings they were slightly wore. i noticed there was quite a large gap between the piston skirt and the cylinder wall more then tolerable so i pulled the head off of it and checked things out. turns out there is less then .oo5 wear on my cylinders so they will hone up just fine but the pistons were wore so much that they were actually smaller then the original standard size mind you the block is punched out .020 over as well as over sized pistons... where is the best place to get a set of pistons for one of these dinosaurs?

no, the pistons were stamped .020 they were just really wore down. unreal. unless they were stamped wrong idk
