986 hydraulic problems

Needed a tractor with a cab and I bought a 986 for a smoking deal.... Tourque is froze on the high side which I assume is because it went out and they quit using it.... Used it for about 2 hrs after I got it home and the clutch won"t fully disengage... If u push in the clutch there is a squealing sound from under the cab.... Sounds like the pump is starved for oil.... Checked the filter and screen and there"s no issue there..... Thinking the Mcv pump is out which is fine because I was gonna split it over the winter but was hoping to get some use out of it before then.... Any ideas and advise is appreciated

The 86 series tractors have a cable for the TA and I had to replace mine after it froze up. I am not saying that is the only problem you have but might be one of a few. Replacing the cable is not a fun job but I have certainly done tougher repairs.

A clutch not fully releasing and a squealing sound with the pedal depressed sounds like a failed release bearing.
