M/H starter

Would a starter from a M work on a H tractor? I just
wondered if any one had experience with this.

The 2 are "clocked" just a little differently so the battery cable post is in the correct position, but even so, the 2 will interchange.

Must have had one not original if they wasn't the same.

The only reason they appear to be clocked different is the holes in the center sections are in different positions for the different tractors. The starters are all the same Delco part number.
