Im looking at one of these tractors this next week its suppose to run narrow front,is it worth anything at all,I know nothing at all about this tractor and have not seen it.Tires they say have to be aired up at times.

Yes,its worth something.Probably as much as a gasoline burner in similar condition. For some folks, propane is a 'deal killer'.For others, they would stand in line for the chance to buy it.

A propane engine can be 50% longer lived than gasoline fueled. There is no cylinder washing, choke flooding, and they would command a premium were I to be in the market and had a filling method. Jim

300lp's are not common but I don't know if they would be "rare". A 350LP is fairly rare.

I don't know the serial # break, but a late 300lp should have the specific propane head.

check the serial number, if it doesn't have a cs on the end, it's a add on Lp attachment, the C is for a factory Lp, and the S is for live Power take off, and i would think, you want that! Chances are it's got a Ensign brand fuel system. and If u have to take the regulator or carb apart, have a sharp knife like they sell at the arts and crafts store to cut the the old gaskets away from the metal, gaskets are hard to come bye. This is a two man job to help hold the item to save the gasket. then get yourself a tube of Brylcreem, hair groom and that will soften the old gaskets, and your back in business.

My Farmall 300lp is probably documented as well as any 300 out there, and there is no "c" in the serial number, never was. Has always been a great tractor.

Not a 300 but they do clean up nice.
