A friend has been working on his 300's brakes for years with limited success. What should be replaced with new parts and what can usually be cleaned and re-used? Adjustment tips? Thanks.

You need to take the housings to a shop and have .090 milled off. Makes up for the wear n the housing and on the tractor side of the brake.
