toe-in - 300 U front axle

I have a 300U with a front loader. No Power steering. It steers VERY hard. All four tie rod ends are shot. One tire is standard 3 rib, the other some old snow tire from truck. I have good drag links with ties rod ends to install. My question is: The I&T book says there are marks on all the parts to line up before installing drag links- WHERE? I cannot find them.
Anybody no where they are?
thanks in advance
PS- When I lift the front end and check for play:hands at 9:00 and 3:00 or 12:00 and 6:00, I can't feel any big issues, maybe a little loose in the bearings. In use, sometimes one tire will get knocked way off alignment, like pointing off at the next town. Is this maybe the bushings?
Are these bushings still available?
thanks again

May not be marks on the replacement parts. Just put everything together and adjust tie-rods so measurement between front of tires is 1" less than that measure at rear of tires. During use if one tire "gets knocked out of alignment" two things come to mind. The adjustment on your tie rod is not tight allowing it to move, or you have a broken/missing key in your draglink. Some have a woodruff key and some fit on splined spindles.

You didn't ask so forgive the intrusion, but you have heard that maybe the front end on that tractor wasn't entirely up to the job of supporting the loader? The steering is a particular issue?

I know there are marks where the tie rods fit over the splined shaft from the gear box. Never did anything with the other end. My tractor had a loader once (no power steering either). It ruined where the front end pivots and the splines on the steering column. Hard to imaging how you steer that thing as it steers hard even without a loader.

not sure why this posted twice, but.. thanks all
I have heard this model is not really enough for a front loader. maybe.. when really using it for fire wood or lite bulldozing, I weight up the back with a pile of weights and 6 foot sections of rail
still not easy, but I can manage it.
yes all drag link ends are shot and will be replaced. Splining on shafts all seem to be good, i.e. I cant move them when up min the air, no metal shavings can be seen.
thanks

Lift the front end with the loader or carefully with jack & stands. Then, with the tires just an inch or less from the ground, grease the pivots on each side(steering knuckles). If it steers easily with no weight on the front end after greasing, then I would look into the steering box.
Bushings & the thrust bearings should still be available, as well as new tie rod ends. If you go to rebuild the steering box some wear parts are available & some will need the assistance of a good machinist.
