farmall H bull pinion bearing cage o-ring

Can anyone tell me where to get bull pinion bearing cage o-rings IH part number is 4222D , got a price of $44.oo from my local dealer does that sound right. Last ones I bought were about $7.00 about 5 years ago .Thanks for any help.Scott

OUCH! I looked around the 'net a bit and that seems to be the correct part #/current price!

If you can determine the exact ID and OD and cross-section, there's GOTTA be a reasonable source for an "O" ring that size!

I took them completely out and used Loctite 598 silicone. Filled the groove completely and put some in the corner at the flange. Worked well for me.

might want to check McMaster Carr, good engineering section on O-rings, sizes, cross section ect. also have splice kit make your own custom rings ect. use their search option for o-ring . I see sizes listed up to 26+ inches

I had my local hydraulic shop size me up an o-ring. Their part # is 568-357 They cost me about $2 apiece. Hope this helps.
