I see a fill plug and a drain plug on the hydraulic block of the 140, but no full level plug. How do you know the proper full level? And what type hydraulic oil to use?

With both rockshafts to the rear, full is at the bottom of the threads in the fill hole.

CIH Hytran or any good tractor/hydraulic fluid that meets CIH specs.

Tractorman, when you say both rockshaft arms to the rear, do you mean they are pointing toward the rear tires and implements would be in the down position? I checked it with the rockshaft arms pointing toward the rear tires and implements down, and also the opposite way (impliments all the way up). Both ways showed it was low of fluid. I just want to make sure I fill it in the proper position. thanks for all your help,it's much apprciated.
