Farmall 140 clutch/gear issue

I have a 1974 Industrial 140 tractor that has a fast hitch which I use to mow with a MOTT fine cut mower. Today I was mowing when I heard a loud noise and tractor shut down. I thought maybe mower got bound up. No it rotated free.Placed tractor in neutral and with clutch pushed in, tractor started like normal. Try to let clutch out and tractor acted like in gear with brake on and shut down. Same with all gears. Placed in neutral and tractor rolled fine. As long as clutch pushed in , runs fine.

In my opinion it is the front (input) bearing in the transmission. It it fails it will lock up the clutch shaft and cause engine stall from the front (engine) perspective, and not allow any gears to turn if placed in gear it is like park. do not force it to turn, much more money will bne spant on repairs if the case is damaged by forced bearing rotation.
