how to change rear tail light bulb?

I converted my 400 to 12 volt and I'm in the process of changing the bulbs. How do I disassemble the red bulb inside the rear tail light to change the bulb? How does it come apart? Thank you for any help

If it is the lamp shown in the IH parts listing there should be a snap in socket near the bottom of the lamp on the side opposite the lens. Just wiggle it a little to unsnap it along with the bulb.

I was able to get it out of the reflector
lense, but now I don't know how to
separate the bulb from the red lense.

Don't know, but that's never stopped me before - on some light bulbs, I have to push them in slightly, then twist them out, one way or the other, and they're ususally rusted in place. I wind up with busted glass and needle-nose pliers trying to get the socket out. .
