574 -674 North American vs English

Hello,
Hello,In the process of hunting a second hydraulic remote for my 574 which turns out to be an English made one. I knew this but thought nearly all of them were made there. Come to find out that that most of the ones here were made here in North America and that the English ones are rare, making the hydraulic remote even rarer.
Any ideas where a supply of salvage English made 574's,674's, 2500's may be?
Thanks

I think they were all assembled in the IH plant in Dorchester, Eng. The ones to be shipped to the states were a little different from the ones going elsewhere.

When I got my 574 (US) it already had two hydraulic valves. It had a loader so I wanted to add another valve bank so I could use the loader and any implement hooked up to the tractor. I put a prince 2 spool valve on the fender and plumbed it into the hydraulic system. I had to set it to open center and power beyond but got it to work relatively easily. let me know if you need help.

Hi, I thought all the 74/84 series tractors were build in Doncaster UK and the major difference was the US assembled ones had Delco electrical systems and US made tires.
The ones delivered to Canada had the Lucas electrical system and UK made tires. The European models I believe had different options like an electrical outlet for trailer lights and other options for the European market.

Here is a link to a large Canadian salvage yard and I have no connection to this company:

A BUNCH of 574's built at Louisville Kentucky plant. Engines were shipped from England IIRC. They were the last tractors built at Louisville. 2 Uncles of mine worked there. We (my dad) had a 574 that was built in Louisville.
