806D veers right all the time, can't hardly steer.

Thing constantly drifts right, gets worse the longer you use it or faster the RPMS. Changed out the fluid (had water residue from sitting out for years before I got it), replaced the filter (I guess maybe should do that again now that it has new fluid). Keep the thing about 2 gallons over full based on a rec. from a local mechanic.

It seems to me like the valve must be leaking? What part do I look for and what price range??

Get the I&T service manual for the tractor. There is a whole power steering troubleshooting processs described there that will narrow down the problem.

It's either the hand pump, the pilot valve, or the steering cylinder.

Thanks, I have an IT manual, hadn't looked at it. Though it was just repair instructions, didn't realize there was a trouble shooting section.
