Hydraulic System on 460

Okay, for the first time, today, I got my 460 LP running! PTO works great, engine runs good, no significant leaks. Question: where is the place where you check the oil in the hydraulic system? Is it the plug down low on the left side of the transmission case? Is it the same as where you add fluid to the transmission/rear axle? That is, is it just to the right of the shifter? Thanks to all for previous help, I plan on posting pics for the very first time in a few days. Hugh

Their is a check plug on the side of the clutch housing to transmission which is on the side where the clutch pedal is which is the right side of the tractor. It probably has a square head on the plug that's your level of oil.Their is a 3 bolt plate by the gear shift that is where you put the oil in.

Thank you very much! I thought that those two locations might be for adding and checking, but I didn't want to neglect to keep hydraulic oil in it and ruin something. I will try to post some pics in the near future. Again, thank you for the information about the 460 hydraulic system. Hugh
