From a post a couple years back, pete 23 said, "Some H's were converted to new style rear unit but kept old lug style countershaft by using an adaptor in between shafts, (rear pto shaft and couter shaft). Had a lug on one end of adaptor and splines on other end."
Anybody know were to get that adapter or even a part #??

59372DX is the adapter but it was part of PTO field improvement package 59411D with other parts. Don't think the adapter will work without some of the other parts.
If the H is serial number 45614 or higher a later model PTO unit will work.
