Here is my recent project,Its a 1933 F12,serial # 682.I cant find the hood with the serial # attached, but the owner which is now deceased, recorded all his tractors in his 150 year anniversity IH book, and gave the book to his close friend for keeping. His last request was he wanted his tractors to be restored. It took 2 hours to remove the tractor from the weeds. The motor was locked,The tractor was painted traffic zone yellow which was flaking, and had cut-off on the rear.Does anyone know if the serial# plate that was mounted on the hood is the same plate that IH used on the gas tank support? If anyone would like to share any info they have on the waukeshas feel free to email me and Ill be glad to give you my phone#

Just a couple of things I noticed right away. The front bolster and rear wheels are off of a later model F-12. I think the plates on the hood are the same as they used on the firewall.

You could be correct,Ill check my parts book for dates and numbers, most people mistake there selves with the parts from the prototype F12 that used the hollow front bolster, yes the wheels are from a newer F12,becaues the orginials were very weak and very few lasted. After the serial number 526{i think} wish would be the starting of 1933 most parts were the standard F12 parts

That's not quite accurate about the front bolster. The light, hollowed out bolster was used throughout the Waukesha run and beyond. Your bolster has been changed no two ways about it. Not uncommon to have this happen.
