MORE I.H parts I am trying to identify ?????

Well,I keep digging and finding a few more pieces. (Thanks for the help/answer about the pulley for the #80 combine )

Here are three more parts I found. They all SEEM to have I.H.red paint on them.(Well they have remains of SOME kind of red.)

First one is a 5 1/2 " x 6" Rhombus shaped piece with 3/4" holes in it. (seems like I saw one of these in a Fast Hitch post awhile back???

Next one is triangle shaped and aprox 6"x 6" on the length of the 90 deg sides. Also with 3/4" holes.

Last one I KNOW is a hitch plate that bolts to a U bar/draw bar,but it is SHORTER than the ones I usually see for my beloved Ms/ Super Ms. The ones I see for M/Hs are like 14" long. This one is 9" overall. I am thinking it fits an A/Super A???? Or does the implement being pulled dictate the length of the plate being used for drive shaft/U joint alignment purposes??? Can it be used on Various Farmalls ,but SPECIFIC to implements??? (IDK???)

On the bottom pic I have two tractors that have a plate that looks much like that bolted to the front bolster. I have a clevis in mine and use it as a tie down while on the trailer.

The top 2 are mounting plates to mount an older IH bar mower to a standard tractor drawbar, H M etc. Model # I think, 25 or 27V if I remember right. I've seen the shorter drawbar plate mounted on about any IH tractor, so I don't know if they are model specific or not.

I too am going to go with sickle mower mounts. They look like some I had to make for mounting a 27v mower. About 1/2" thick?

The part in photo#1 is 5/8" thick. The part in photo#2 is only 1/2" thick.

May be I could look up the mower on the I.H. parts web sight?

I got the manual here for the 27v and the top one looks like one of the pieces to hook on to a 9 series machine. I don't see exact matches for the other two, but the book shows how IH had engineered adapters to put their mower on every color of tractor you can think of.

When I made my adapters I looked in this book and then eyeballed them.

I think we're in the ballpark but they may go to a different model of mower. I don't know if the parts website will show that stuff or not.

My first thought was the same as the comment below, I have one on the front bolster that I use for pulling my tractor when the battery is dead. This is the third picture that I am talking about.

I can't say on #1 or #2, but adapters for the universal type mowers seems reasonable.

#3 is the PTO standardization hitch plate for the A/B and later models. When installed, it sets the distance from the end of the PTO shaft to the hitch pin to the standard dimension. These plates are specific to tractor models. With the proper plate, a given tractor should then be able to hook up to any PTO powered implement that is built to the standard. Before this was standardized, each implement required different specific parts to connect to particular tractor models.

It happens that the bolt spacing on these plates allows bolting to the front of some tractors, but it was not what IH intended. In fact, hitching to the front of some tractors is a good way to break them in half.

First two were used on the mower we had them for the M. Third is a drawbar extension like Jim said when the sliding drawbar wasnt used.

The third one came new on my fixed-drawbar 1966 140 International.

It is 66185D:

EXTENSION, drawbar, units A and B, provides A standardized power take-off hitch for tractors equipped with power take-off

I use it for pulling my trailing Bush Hog Squealer so the drawbar hole under the PTO does not get worn and improve the driveline geometry. If I didn't use it, I would have had to cut down the driveline and increase the angle of operation. It would not turn as well, either. With the extension, driveline length was EXACTLY what Bush Hog suggested.

I don't have the swingable tongue parts #4 and #5.

....just confirming and amplifying what Jim said.
