amps draw for 6 Volt starter

Need the starter number to get the exact specs. Here are a couple examples.

Starter number 1107093, Spec number 2394
5.6 volts, 50 amps min, 70 amps max, 5500 rpm min.

Starter number 110096, spec number 3520
5.7 volts, 90 amps min, 125 amps max, 4500 rpm min, 6400 rpm max.

thank you Owen for the information on amp draw of starter motor.
This will assist me in setting up the required starter solenoid.

I don't have average or ideal starter draw specs, but regardless, it depends on temperature and oil viscosity and engine compression. Most typical small truck and tractor starter solenoids will handle several hundred amps so there shouldn't be a problem.

The specs for amperage draw is a no load spec used for testing the starter. The loaded draw will be much higher. Some starter specs give an amperage draw for a locked starter but the Delco Remy chart did not have that information for the starter numbers I looked at.

I agree with Owen, the real life numbers are going to be MUCH higher, especially locked rotor current.
