Farmall F-20 Brake Assembly

I am restoring a Farmall F-20. I'm trying to remove the brake pedals, and yes, I've removed the cotter key in the end of the shaft. Does anyone have any suggestions to get the brake pedal off and also how to to remove a stubborn cotter key. Thanks much.

You have to remove the wheels to remove/disassemble the brake drums. The shaft slides out thru the brakes.cut the cotter pin flush with a chisel. Then you can punch it out.

If you are trying to get the pedals off, unbolt the plates from the frame rails and remove the whole pedal assembly shaft and all. Then you can get at things easier and you may need to heat some things up to remove. The actual shafts that go into the brake drums are separate from the brake pedal shaft .
