belly mower on 184 Loboy

I recently picked up 184 Loboy w/ 5" belly mower, 3 spindle, belt drive. The belly mower"s markings are pretty much gone; I.D. plate is scratched out & illegible. The only faded markings I can see are the numbers "3160" on the top left side of the deck.

Anyone know if this could have been a Woods brand or something made by International?

Thanks,

Gary

The 3160 was originally a Danco Mfg mower. At some point IH purchased Danco. I don't know much about the 3160 model. I think the 3260 was more popular (probably a newer model). --Lee

There are three 3160 mowers.
3160- Flat deck with caster wheels and skids on both sides.
3160A (early)- Has wind tunnel and wide rollers on the front, both sides.
3160A (late)- Same as early except has one narrow roller on the front right.
Go to the CASEIH website and search for parts by model number 3160.

Thanks for the info. gentlemen. Looks like mine is the 3160A.

Also, can you tell me the difference between the "IHC Red" & "IH Red"? I"d like to get the right paint for this 1978 tractor.

Thanks again,

Gary
