I have a MD that starts good on gas switches over good runs for a couple of minutes and dies.Tank is clean new fuel filters all fuel lines taken off and cleaned Thank You. Kory

Cylinder compression could be pushing fuel back through injection nozzles.Injectors might have to be checked.Not all pump shops have knowledge on those old girls.

What kind of pressure do you have on the gauge on the pump?

Watch the pressure on pump gauge. If it drops off or is very low that is your problem. Not getting enough from tank. Some times the tank baffle comes off and blocks flow. When that happens you often see small bubbles coming into glass water trap due to the pump sucking hard but not getting fuel so air enters around gasket or bleeder. Plugged return line could be a problem also.

I will have to put new gauge that I have to find out. I have to make first crop alfalfa first, will check it when I am done. Thanks
