Super A Hyd. Pump Seal

My '49 SA is leaking the Hyd. oil into the
crankcase.It has the Thompson pump, and looks like
CNH no longer handles the seal. Does anyone have a
seal # for this pump ? Thanks , Dale

If you can get a number off the seal you can go to NAPA and probably get one.

Just take the seal to a parts store and they can get you a new one a seal is a seal

If you look close near the bottom of that parts breakdown. It will tell you Thompson is similar.

I just rebuilt my pump on my Super A. I bought an o-ring kit from CaseIH, but it didn't have the seal. Some pumps have an o-ring seal, but mine had the regular lip seal. I think I have the right invoice as I order a bunch of parts, but the number I have for the seal is 385038R91.

Ok guys ,The seal # for the Thompson pump is Timken 470954 or SKF 7443. Not an automotive seal , I got it @ a Bearings and Drives industrial supply. Only $3.25 ! Thanks to all for your info....
