International 101 combine. 6 volt or 12?

Hi just bought a 101 bean special combine in great shape Gas
engine 6 cylinder has no battery in it so what. Should I look
for? It has a generator also, and distributor and coil ignition so
12 volt?maybe

You might start by looking to see if the generator still has an OEM tag. Should be a Delco... black tag = 6 Volt, red tag = 12 Volt, plus it will list the voltage on the tag.

Headlight bulbs will be labeled, as well.
