Farmall C Hyd issue

I worked on the hyd block replacing O-rings and gaskets. I install it back on the tractor and now wont raise or lower. I raise somewhat at first but really slow. I knew before I started this project it raised and lower with no problem just leak.

Leave the fill plug out. If it won't prime then, try some pressurized air. If it still won't work you put something together wrong.

Get it on a hill with the nose pointed down about a foot. Or jack up the rear end. That should prime it. I had to do it too. John

My Super C has a little pipe plug on top of the pump, remove plug carefully, has ball and spring under it, remove ball with small magnet, fill oil can with hyd. oil and pump it full,cycle hitch lever a few times slowly and repeat. Start it up and see what happens.
