Bleeding fast hitch

On my 240U, I had to unhook the hoses to the fast hitch cylinder to get the seat platform off.

Now that I have the hydra touch control fixed and adjusted, the hitch "bounces" on the way up, and it's a little spongy. There's probably air in the lines and the cylinder.

Where should I crack the lines to get the air out?

Mini-rant: This is hardly the worst in the "Book of Bad Ideas," but what engineer decided to put the hydraulic hoses through a hole in the seat platform, instead of making a slot so the platform could be removed easily? I made the hole into a slot, and there is no noticeable loss of strength because the thing is bolted to the transmission cover!

I would just try cycling it 10 times with nothing on the hitch, all the
way up and all the way down and that should purge the air, I think.

When I overhauled the 450, I had a similar issue with the fast hitch and power steering. After drilling out the bypass as Pete 23 suggested, the fast hitch hiccupped some. Now I use one of the other remote valve handles with the fast hitch handle and it has a very fast response. I cycled it dozens of times. The steering; raised the front off the floor and cycled it dozens of times. All is well.
