Farmall 400 Pedal Tractor

What ever you are willing to pay for it.
Some people only look at the dollar signs, That is not value.
By some peoples definitions, you should only pay what you can sell it for.
People buy land, but you can't take it with you. And I could go on and on........
If you have to ask, then you must not want it very badly or need it. Let some one else get it.

How do you buy or sell anything without putting a dollar value on it?And how do you know I'm trying to buy it? In fact I'm not I just need to know a fair dollar value

Might post this down in the Tractor Memorabilia section. Some of those guys probably has that farm toy price guide that includes pedal toys.

I can't give you any up to date info., but a few year's ago I did sell a nice complete original on auction with faded paint for $550. Restored one's are generally not worth quite as much as an original.

I was going to say $400-500. Maybe I am a hair low??? I stopped watching them a while back.

Dick's Farm Toy Price Guide lists the 400 at $500 in "Good" condition and $900 in "Excellent" condition. Excellent includes restored units.

As suggested below, post in Tractor Memorabilia forum. IaGary may have some input on this one.

Saw one sell at a farm sale here in the middle of the state of Kansas last spring. I wanted it for my grandsons. It was completely restored. I got out at $200.00. It went for a little over $600.00 if I remember correctly. There were a couple of others, like an M or an H. The same guy got all of them. None were less than $500.00 each.
