Hi James, am I right in thinking on the F12 the hydraulic pump was offerd a long time after they stopped using the Waukesha engines. MJ

Since the pump wasn't on the tractor when it was made it had to be added on which means it can be taken off. Is it the pump that was on later tractors with the pump on the side and the reservoir under the seat? If its like my F14 you will have to remove the transmission cover to get the bolts out of the pump.

The only issue I can think of is the bearing retainer. It'll have to be removed somehow.

Other than that, just a gasket and cap. Here's a grainy picture of the area on mine when I had the pump removed and some issues I had reinstalling the pump.

Where are you at Jimmy? I am in South East Michigan and I am looking for a hydraulic attachment. If we made a deal, I would provide you with the correct casting to put it back to the original way.

On my F14, the pump casting replaces the bearing retainer on the left (as you face forward) side of the transmission mainshaft.

If you need a replacement bearing retainer, I have one.
