886 hydraulic pressure question

We have a ih 800 8 row planter hooked to our 886. All of a
sudden the planter won't lower. I know it takes 2200 psi to
activate the solenoid on the planter. Does the 886 have
enough pressure to operate the machine? I used it last year
on the same tractor but thought maybe the pump could be
getting week.

I would check the hose tips & coupler bodies, these act up under heavy flow demand, they wont depress the tips against each other.

Got it figured out. Had to adjust the pin that hooks the lever to the valve. The lever has not opening the valve very far because it was hitting the top of the housing.
