Anyone know what side a farmall 560 belt pulley control rod is supost to come out? The same side as the pulley or on the clutch side?
I have seen both ways...what we they originally?
Thanks

I think either way is correct.Just depended on which direction the shifter arm was pointed.Dont be so darn picky! The correct police will STILL find fault with it,no matter HOW perfect it is.Because there is NO perfect tractor...Especially from the 'factory'.Put it together,do a good job, make it look pretty, have fun and relax.

Thanks DeltaRed
I know Im very picky...I just want it to be a original as possible. I dont want anything incorrect if I can help it. But yes your rite there will always be things for people to point out that is wrong.
Thanks for the help!

Thanks Rich,
I just bought one and its on the right sitting on the seat. I didnt get
any linkage (control levers) with it....thats why Im trying to figure
this out.
Mine is a 1959

On mine it looks like the control if it were on the right side would interfere with the throttle linkage and the brake lock assembly. I could take some pictures for you if you need and email them, as I do not know how to post them here.

Parts book shows it on the left.

Probably from an M. You can reverse and rework the lever to the left side.

If you look on the rear cowl you will see 2 small hole which is where the rod support goes.
