B275D sediment bowl leaking

Does anyone have a solution to get it to stop? It is leaking past the gasket which I just changed. It slowed it down but didn't eliminate the problem.

Any help would be appreciated.

On my B250 I had a similar problem,a new gasket didn't seem to solve the leak,I don't know if the gaskets are thinner or what, but I made a gasket out of corkboard, that was considerably thicker than the rubber/neoprene one and the leaking stopped. I had to retighten as the gasket took the shape of the bowl up against it..no problems since

I ordered one from CIH today. We will see if that works any better.

No doubt the base is warped giving you the problem. A good thick cork gasket, softened up good in very hot water,(I used to use the steam cleaner on cork gaskets to get their attention) would be your best bet. I always softened the cork valve cover gaskets etc also on a lot of machines. It was pretty common for a valve cover to be warped out of shape and a nice soft gasket was what was needed instead of a lot of gasket cement. The gaskets increased in size also, so you had to kind of push them in place under the cover as you started to tighten cover down but they really seal good then.
