Super C snow plow/grader

I have a '52 Super C with a C-72 snow plow/grader. I want to hook up the grader as a grader, but; I don't have the brackets for the back end of the tractor, where it hooks up around the draw bar. (I don't have quick-hitch) I need the brackets and I need the large shield shaped arms for the rockarms to lift lower the blade.

The back blade for the fast hitch will have prongs to fasten to the fast hitch your blade is not meant for rear mounting

He's talking about belly mounting the blade.

As for finding the brackets, good luck. Most of the brackets that did exist have long since been lost, used to patch up another piece of equipment, or sent to the scrapyard. I would consider them rare and hard to find.

The few people that have them fall into three categories:

1. They don't know they have them.
2. They are using them and would not sell them for $1,000,000.
3. They don't read this forum.

Hey, you might luck out here, but it's a major pig in a poke.

Dan, I have a C-72 2 Point Fast Hitch model and can't help with the rear mounting brackets you mention. I could provide you a tracing of the "shield shaped" pieces that attach to the Touch Control to raise and lower the blade if that would be of help. You would then have to have them laser cut to the tracing by someone in your area from steel plate stock. I also have the Operator's Manual and Setting Up Instructions for the C-72 blade which shows some detail of what is needed on the back of your Super C to mount the blade. You could probably have the rear drawbar mount fabricated to fit your tractor from the detail in this manual by a local metal and weld fabricator again in your area. My email is open if you feel this would be a benefit to you, Hal.

I used the manual and made the parts to connect the blade as a grader blade. It bolts to the rear housing. just takes a little time and a measuring tape. cut the parts and weld them. Stabilizer bars take heat to bend them correctly. I had to made the shield shape arms for the lift. I went to a steel company and had them cut to length and then heated an bent mine to shape. I like the plasma cutter idea better. You just need someone to send you a cardboard cut out of one.

In would love a tracing of the bracket for the rockarms. I think I can figure out the rear mount brackets and make them up myself, pretty simple it appears. How can I get a drawling from you? Would you like an address?

I realize you can't rear mount it, I am looking for the brackets to attach the rear of the blade bracket to the rear of the tractor while in Grader mode. Whats more important than those pieces is the piece for the rock arm shafts to lift and lower the blade. That is a uniquely shaped item.
