560D wide front question

Good Morning Everybody,

As my search for a wide front end for my 560D continues I'd like to ask if a wide front off a Farmall 350D would fit up to and support the weight of my 560D properly?

I have a friend who just took his off for a narrow front so he can play with weight more at the tractor pulls and he offered me the wide front. I'm really hoping it will fit!!

Unfortunately, no.

The 350 is a narrow-frame tractor, and the 560 is a wide frame, so the bolt holes for the saddle won't even come close to lining up.

What happened to the M front end?

BTW, Schwartz wide front ends can be purchased from anyone who is a dealer of A&I products. Most every local equipment dealer also handles A&I.

If you come up bust at the local tractor dealers, look for a "short line" equipment dealer who doesn't carry any of the major brands; one who just sells implements and crop handling equipment.

If its a IH wide front the spindles are lighter than a 560. If the price was right and condition good I would get it. They are worth more than a 560 one in a lot of places. Maybe you could trade.
If you want to try it on a 560 the rear support and steering arm for a 560 to make it bolt up are not to hard to find. Won't have the 6 bolt hubs on the 350 wide front though, if original.

D Slater, what about the front support saddle?

The frame rails on a 350 are narrower than a 560.

Front axle tube support casting that bolts to the bolsters is the same for a 350 and a 560. Same axle tube also if I remember correct. Rear support across to the frame rails is different because they match the different frame rail width of the two tractors. Also the H, SH, 300 and 350 steering arm bolt pattern is different from a 460, 560 and others. Steering arms are the made the same except for the bolt pattern for IH fronts with tie rods to rear.

The SM wide front fell thru unfortunately. The 350 wide front was free to me complete with no hubs or bearings so I was hoping I scored and it would fit but no such luck it sounds.

Thank you

The search continues....

PS-What is A&I? I am not familiar with them
