300F clutch

The clutch seems to slipping on my 300 farmall. I first noticed it when plowing. Im afraid that maybe she might be giving up the ghost. This is a TA delete tractor. I did notice a little oil drip when I removed the bottom cover on housing. Bad news im thinking. Rear main and a clutch? I need it for first cutting so I better get to working on it. I have never put a clutch in a red tractor. Any pointers?

You won't know for sure until you take it apart and see what's wrong. The oil could be hytran from the TA housing.

The parts are HEAVY, so a smooth flat shop floor, lots of thinking, a pile of 4x4 blocks for cribbing and a good set of splitting stands should be high on your priority list.

Thanks for the info. To me it seems like engine oil, but I could be wrong. I just changed the hy tran , this stuff is brown/black and don't smell like hy tran. I suppose the clutch facings got glazed with oil
