The BN is 4 inches per axle shorter than a B. The easiest way to Look at one and see it is to check out the seat bracket on the right side of the seat. on a B it will be 4 inches from the fender, on a BN it will be attached to the fender base. Jim

What you are calling the "Axle" is the differential shaft.

The differential shafts on a "B" are 22 inches long.
The differential shafts on a "BN" are 18 inches long.

Actually, it is the differential shaft HOUSINGS that are 22 and 18 inches long. The shafts are considerably longer.

thats what i ment, housings, i measured all three
tractors i have and one is 22" and the other 2 are
18", i was trying to verify models 1-B and 2-BN's
