Center pivot pin in front axel 86 series

My center pivot pin thru my front axel on my 1486 refuses to take grease. I have changed the grease fitting, squirt WD40 in it, used a grease buster and it just won't take grease. I have had to pull the pins on my old 806's and 856 before to clean out the grease hole in the center of the pin but never pulled on out on a 86 series before. Can anyone tell me what holds it in and how the pin comes out. Does not look like to me that it will come out the front. Any information appreciated.

Did you try lifting the front to relieve pressure on the grease port at the bushing. It might give it a fighting chance. Jim

There is or should be a 5/16 bolt about 6" long thru the pin from side to side on the big front cast piece.

If there is no bolt in the holes on the side of that cast piece then the bolt sheared off. It should drive right out with that bolt removed.

Jack the front up just enough to get the pressure off the pin first.

If you have the latest one piece casting you may have to disassemble a few more things. On the older style, not so much,. Fact is, some used to work out on their own, not good. Actually, I have had quite a few older styles out but don't really remember the exact procedure.
