Stuck hydraulic coupling in 7140 magnum

I bought a new to me CIH 496 disc. I used it and when I went to unhook the hyd. Couplers from the rear remotes one has refused to allow me to pull it out. I have disconnected the hose from the cylinder so I am sure it has no pressure on it. The remote on the tractor had been working fine up till now. The sleeve inside the tractor coupler was replaced about two years due to hoses popping out. Do you have any ideas how I can get this apart and what might be causing the issue. Thanks in advance.
 
I would put the other hose back in and then with the tractor shut off, go inside the cab and throw the lever both directions to make sure the pressure is released on the back side of the remote.

...or grab a couple wrenches and take the pressure off one end of the hose by loosening the loose coupler end. been there, done that. funny how easy they work then.
 
Remove the rubber cover and flush dirt from around the outlet.It might not be letting the balls of coupler to unlatch.

He said that already disconnected the hose from the cylinder.

Whatever the problem is, isn't pressure related. The coupler is jammed, because of dirt or a defect... Don't know.

At this point, I think he's just going to have to figure out a way to apply more force to the coupler. Some sort of pry bar arrangement.

One thing I'd try, is get a thick washer that will fit over the threads of the hose, and install it between the hose and the coupler stuck in the tractor. The washer will give you something to pry against. Might want to use an old hose so you don't ruin the end on the implement hose. The coupler is probably a lost cause.
