I dropped the carb and broke off the brass tube in the carb, the tube goes down a hole when the two halves are joined, how can I fix it?,

Buy a new tube & install it.

Agree, not difficult with correct tools and knowledge. Upper end 4-48 threads into top, lower end not threaded. Use penetrant liberally and take your time to keep from damaging threads.

Should have just researched a little more, lots of replies from
past posts, mine is broke off , will drill out, retap threads if
have too and replace tube, steiners has for $15
Thanks

Lots of people have success with a left hand drill bit, use in hand drill, not electric and it might just unscrew the broken piece. If you trash the threads you've got major problems.

As the other fellows have said, CARREFULLY drill out using sucessivly larger drill bits then as you near the threads use what is called an easy out ( Left hand threaded tap so called) a generous amount of lub penitrating oil and ease the remainder out even a careful amount of warmth from a heat gun, do not melt the metal with a torch.
Take time and care and the broken piece should come out.
I worked in the machine shop in years past; So time and care are your allies use them well.

Ditto. Use a 3/32" left hand bit. Hand drill only.
