correct wiring farmal c 6-12 volt

what is the correct wiring path for my C? I installed a voltmeter and a one wire alternator but am having trouble hooking up the wires correctly.

The link below is the answer for general wiring. The alternator needs to connect to the positive side of the battery at the starter motor battery connection. (It should have a fuse link in it that can handle the alternator rated output plus 10%. The volt meter also connects to this terminal and the negative side is grounded. They usually operate all the time, running or not. If the battery goes dead between running times, put a master switch in the positive battery cable that shuts off everything. Jim
