I posted this several days ago and I did not get any responses, so I will try again.
I am trying to drain my hydraulic fluid and according to my manual I have 2 drain plugs. One for the tank (which I found) and one for the transmission. The manual gives me a generic location (in front of the transmission) but there are 15 bolts on the bottom of transmission plate. The manual has these bolts attached to eternal pumps. There are 3 oversized bolts but according to the manual these are connected to relief and pressure type valves.
I am puzzled as to where the drain is.
My tractor has a backhoe attached if this helps.
Can anyone tell me where the forward drain plug is?
If I can"t find the drain plug can I remove the hyraulic hose that enters the bottom of the tranmission to empty the fluid?
Thanks in advance.
