41 h pto delet?

we just bought a 41 h last month. now we are putting on a stanhoist loader and I want to put a platform on the drawbar. can I remove the pto and cover the hole with a plate? will it unbolt and the hole shaft and casting come out as a unit? thanks Bob

Bob, it is that easy, just unbolt it and pull the whole PTO assembly and shaft out, and cover with a plate.

Yes, PTO should just pull out as a unit and replace with a flat plate.

thanks guy that's what I wanted to know. the pto on this ol gal crepes very slow and I think that its just the drag on the rearend grase makeing it do that. it works fine when its in gear. thanks Bob

Don't know about an H but on a M the plate that fits on top the steering pedestal will also fit the PTO opening.
