I need to know the make and model number of this loader so I can buy a seal repair kit. The pistons are leaking out of the front of the cylinders.

Thanks

There we go sorry about that

Most all seals can be bought by measuring the seals and ordering through a hydraulic or bearing supply store.

Most local weld shops can find them as well.

I see kits on line for farmhands and they seem very complete. I was hoping to do one stop shopping and knock the whole thing out in an aftenoon. The cylinders are international harvester stamped

If you take some measurements before you call, Baum Hydraulics in Omaha can fix you up with seals for pretty much ANY hydraulic cylinder ever made.

Yes, the loader is homemade using salvaged cylinders.

Unless you can find a part number on the cylinders themselves, you're going to have to go the "measure" route.

Can't get more "one stop shopping" than a hydraulic shop, though.

Ok, thank you. I'll start taking them down and measuring. I'll give those fellows a call
Thanks

I wont debate the "homemade" part, since someone
posted on EXACTLY like it on here a couple of years
ago,(may have been you, I dont know.) but as
recommended, parts for those cylinders are
available. Heck, Ive found a few odds and ends at
my local Napa, but even they arent doing
hydraulics any longer

Long Gun, We are fortunate here in SW Ohio to have a local shop who always are able to match up seals for hydraulic repair. If you do not have a shop in your area, Bob's advice about Baum Hydraulics is right on. They are also very good !

Single acting cylinder? It should no problem to find the seals/cups. My single acting loader cylinders leaked. I bought the right diameter pipe, my friend honed them foor me and supplied the seals/cups. hydraulic-supply.
