C-20 Plow point bolt

There's 3 different possibilities you could be asking about.

1. The top retaining bolt is fine-threaded with a rectangular head. Bolt has 4 radial lines and is the equivalent of a Grade 6 bolt.

The bolts in the center of the point have two possibilities.

2. Most common is a hex-headed bolt. 1/2"NC and either 3/4" or 7/8" long (don't remember). Hex bolt was used for all later steel points. Originally had 4 radial lines, and was swithched to a Grade 8 bolt when IH discontinued their Grade-6 equivalent hardware.

3. Goofy bent head bolt that sorta looks like a plow bolt that goes through the point. It was used on earlier steel points and all chilled points.

You're probably asking about #3. I'll try and get some pics tomorrow.

If you find some of these please let me know. I have 3 or 4 of those bolts left and maybe a dozen points on the shelf that use that style of bolt. I wish it were the other way around.
