Awhile back in RPM you wrote about a square oring to stop the oil pump leak on 361/407 engines. My 1256 leaks.I 've 'reringed' with the genuine IH ring several times. The housing is so worn that it has a groove.Nothing has helped the leak.Where can I get that special square oring? can you supply it? This '12' has 20,000 hrsThank you. Steve

I just looked on McMaster-Carr's website, they have a large selection of cross sectional size and diameters, even if they don't have the exact size you need, you can get a larger one, cut it to size and super glue it back together, BTDT.
Only problem is, you might need to get a pack.

There are two things you can do here . (1) you can get the housings new or atleast they USE to be avil. or (2) you can have it machined out and have a sleeve made and pressed in as i have done that . If you go the sleeve deal use a little Loc tite to seal the repair sleeve to the housing and bevel the edge of the repair sleeve so that when you put the tube with new O/Ring in it does not tear it .
