560 wide front options

Morning everybody,

I just picked up a 560D this weekend to be used mainly for mowing 15-20 acres of land by my house. The tractor came with a narrow front however I'd much rather a wide front as I am more comfortable with that stance; especially for the hilly terrain I plan on mowing. So my question is what other model tractor wide front ends will bolt onto the 560?

Thanks

I bought a used wide front end that came off of a
656. it has been good one. paid $650, some 20 years ago.

I also agree with just getting a new Schwartz. A decent USED wide front will cost $600 to $700, and if it needs new spindles, tierods, etc., you will very soon have the price of a new one invested, and you will still have a used wide front.

An 'old style' from an M up to the newer style 706- 1256 WF will work/fit.As was said,an new Swarts might be the best way to go...

Your statement about a wide being more "stabil" that a narrow is just an illusion.4 wheels gives the 'feeling' of being safer/more stabil. It is not.If its too steep for a narrow front, then its too steep for a wide.Common misconception. Both types use what is call 3 point stance/suspention.The wide simply raises the "pivot point" about 2 feet.BE safe on those hills. And everywhere else, too!

Where would I begin the research into a new Schwartz front end? This is a new realm for me especially when compared to my H.

Where do you live? I used used to be a dealer, and I guess I still am, but I am more or less retired. The hosts of this site might be able to fix you up.

Do not use the original 560 wide front I installed one turning is real bad, go with a 56 series wide front also have one of those turns real nice and short also, have a schwartz wide front they have a week spot where the spindle meets piece going up the tube I would would steer clear or keep extra parts just saying.
