3388 hand pump

I have a 3388 where the hand pump leaks out the input seal. we have replaced the seal couple times. still leaks out input shaft seal. there is a very small groove you can feel with your finger nail but not real bad. we have talked with people and said that there is a bushing that wears out and can not be bought. has to be made. just wondering what bushing people are talking about and if that is all that needs to be replaced to fix this leak. thanks for your time.

If it is like the others. It would be a brass ring. Should come with the seal kit. Or at least it did a couple of years ago on our 856 and 574.

The bushing would be in the end cap and I have never replaced one. The washer in seal kit is not a load bearing bushing but rather a back up for seal.

yeah. the brass one does come in kit, been replaced every time.
