Fast hitch disc

I have a fast hitch disc, believe its a f36 or c36 not sure the difference between the two. When I took it through some unplowed ground it wanted to jump from side to side. I have the gangs set to the most aggressive to try and turn more dirt. Would setting the gangs to a lesser angle help with the operation? Appreciate the input.

If you are trying to use this as your prime tillage tool this is your problem as it was meant as a secondary tool to follow the PLOW . If it has a rack that looks like you could set cement blocks across it then do that as it will help . Repeated discing compacts the soil down deeper.

If the front gang is deeper than the rear it can begin to jump side to side. Another reason is loose fast hitch pivot points and lift links will make it worse. Leveling should help and if the disk is making a ridge, go a little slower. There is a balance

Yes tip the front up a little, either the screw adjustment or the Touch Control leaver.

I normally do plow first but thought I would just try it in some old grass pasture. I will move the gangs to the middle position and see if that helps.
