What are these old M's worth

A friend that has helped me out in the past asked me what these old M's are worth. I had no Idea but told him I would ask some experts. He has worked on restoring these girls for a couple of years and got them in really nice shape and now decided to sell them. The narrow front is a 1952 Super M with a recently overhauled motor and new tires. The wide front is a 1949 in very good shape also.
If someone has some ball park figures He would really appreciate it.
Thanks Much if you can help.

A running M could be 'worth' anywhere from $800 to
thousands.$1500-$2500 most likely.However.I will
garantee he wont get out of them what he has in
them.

I think realistically, he could get 3500-4000 out of that 52, if it looks like the pics. The wide front, maybe up to 4500-5k. This is assuming the tires are basically new (which it looks like they are) depending on your area. Around here, that's what they'd bring. However, you'll need to sit on them for a bit to get those kind of numbers. Chances are you'll get someone who really wants a parade tractor and wants it ready to go. If he's just looking to sell them now, take a thousand off those numbers. If these were quick restores (overspray, lots of pitting visible) take a thousand off.

Oh my--------$5000 for a 1952 SM. Try $2500 on a good day.
The market today isn't what it was..........

If it's quality restoration, with a wide front, I've seen them go that high, even recently given the caveats I made.

2500 around here gets you a good running, but not restored SM with ok tires. Even at the auctions.

There really isn't a set price. Good example last weekend my Brother-in-law's Father auction a Stage I Super H sold for $4000! Best way to get what current prices on tractors in your area, is find out what there bringing at auction.

True, on here and elsewhere I read about people picking up $1500 06 series tractors. Around here, an 06 series pretty well starts at 3000 if it's only fit for the scrap pile.

You might dig around for auction prices in your area.

In the north east I've seen a M for sale in the $4000 range. Eventually it may sell to some fool but generally it sits for a long time.
I saw a late 40's M for sale wide front end decent shape but all rusty for $2700. That was last summer. Still sitting there.

I have rebuilt m, new tires, 3pt, just a nice runnning tractor.
Would not take $3500.00 and dont know anyone who would
pay it here in midwest. Contemplating live hydraulics.

(quoted from post at 13:35:57 03/31/14) Saw a guy on Craigslist a while back who wanted $50,000 for a fully restored SM.

I won't even have that in my WD-9 by the time I am FINALLY done. I am not sure I could have half that in it.
