correct spark plugs

I have a 706 with a 263 in it and I it is running rich on fuel. What is the correct plug to run in it for moderate load type of work. It will be running a bush hog mower and some light loader work. I have reset the timing and am going to rebuild the carb this week. Right now it has a set of Autolite 368 plugs in it.

I use autolite 3116 plugs. right now we have four 706 gas tractors.

What i have found that works well in them is 3116 Auto lites and also C 86 A C's and as for your RICH running i'll just bet you have the cheapest gas you can find in it . Change you gas to 93 Octane as that is the lowest that you run in a 706 gasser , also put a timing light on it and check the timing as on a C263 ya want 23 Degrees BTDC at full throttle . Also if you do not know this the only oil you run in that engine is the LOW ASH .
