Braggin' On Powerful '39 H

My new to me 460 is in the shop so all I have is my old '39 H. Yesterday he had to pull a 7 shank chisel/field cultivator. It was in the ground a good 6". Worked awful hard (first gear) but got 'er done. Today used the tandem disc. Unfortunately I don't have a three point, so there is no way the ol' H will have to plant too! Really was pleased with how well that ol' H pulled, especially yesterday. kelly in TX.

Gordo, believe it or not, I'm gonna plant some popcorn. Just bought a local Craigslist "planter" yesterday. Dunno what model, but when I lived in Nebraska fifty years ago they were called "listers". It is "powered" by finger wheels behind the moldboards/middle busters.

Ah don"t listen to H critics, bigredman. My "50 H has tore apart every implement I own, ripped the tongue off Pop"s field roller, has pulled and twisted the 3-point so bad I had to have it takedn apart and re-welded, bent the axles on the JD wheel disc.... . Old girl wants to WORK.
