Can or how do you check a fuel gauge on a 1066? I used an ohm meter,moved the float and there was no change on the meter. I measured the screw connection to ground. Does that mean it is bad? Thanks

Is it still in the tank? Out of the tank?
You are checking it correctly. If it is out of the tank, look for an open on the resistance winding.
If no opens, look closely to see if a connection is loose near the screw.

If the gauge quit moving it was time to go find fuel. That's how ours worked. Both 10's and the 15.
