Hi Guys. : B-275

Perdido

New User
I'm new to this so here's hoping you'll forgive some maybe obvious questions.

I have a McCormick- International B275, 1960 or 61.

I am hoping you could direct me where to get a fresh oil filter.

Also, I can't seem to find the decals for this model.

How does one test the glow plugs or a glow plug?

Thanks in advance.

Any NAPA will have the oil and fuel filters. Oil
is FIL-1302. Fuel is FIL-3114. Engine is a BD144.
Glow plugs operate at less then 1 volt each and all
five are hooked in series. So if one goes bad,
none will work. Four plugs in the engine and a
5th (indicator element) in the dashboard. If you
change over to the fast-heat plugs that run on 12
volts and get hooked in series -they work better
and last much longer. Same as used in the 190D
Mercedes cars.

Thank you J. !!

I bought the tractor a couple years ago with the intent of using it at the horse corrals and to slowly restore it.

Thanks very much. I do appreciate the time and info.

Do you have a favorite place to hunt the odd parts for the odd tractors? I can't find the one decal it has. Some of the gaskets are eluding me. ... lol
Thanks.

Eddie
